Joint Commission Accreditation

Lahey Clinic is fully accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC), a leader in setting quality and safety standards for hospitals and other health care facilities. Lahey's medical centers in Burlington and Peabody underwent an extensive, unannounced survey in November 2008. Overall, Lahey received only one "requirement for improvement," or RFI, in the more than 250 standards that were applied in the review.
