    In a commitment to our patients residing on the North Shore, Lahey has established full medical and radiation oncology services at our Peabody site. The Ambulatory Surgery Center and a 10-bed acute-care unit are based at Lahey Medical Center, Peabody, along with laboratory and diagnostic radiology services, primary care, and medical specialty practices.

    Cancer patients who have completed radiation therapy and want to be free of radiation tattoos can have them removed at minimal cost through the Department of Cosmetic and Laser Surgery at Lahey Outpatient Center, Lexington. The Lexington facility also offers mammography, laboratory and diagnostic radiology services, including an open MRI, which eliminates the traditional MRI tunnel and allows a family member or friend to stay by the patient's side throughout the exam. Adult primary care and medical specialty practices are also available at Lahey Outpatient Center, Lexington.
