Title: International GBS Outcome Study (IGOS)Principal Investigator: Michal Vytopil, MDSponsor: The GBS-CIDP Foundation InternationalSummary: This is a prospective observational international multicenter study including 1000 patients with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) variants of GBS, Miller Fisher syndrome (MFS) and overlap syndromes. The study aims to identify clinical and biological determinants of disease progression and recovery in GBS. Collected information will be used to understand the diversity in clinical presentation and response to treatment of GBS and to develop new prognostic models to predict the clinical course and outcome in individual patients. Approximately 5 patients will be enrolled at Lahey.
