How to Apply - Gastroenterology Fellowship

The Gastroenterology Department offers two, three-year fellowship training opportunities. Prerequisites include an MD or DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program.

Lahey Clinic’s Gastroenterology Fellowship Training Program only accepts applications via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) (https://www.aamc.org/students/medstudents/eras/fellowship_applicants/). Required documentation include a personal statement, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, USMLE scores and a medical school dean’s letter. Selection is made exclusively through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) (http://www.nrmp.org).


Attention International Medical School Graduates: You must qualify for a J-1 Visa from the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates and have a valid ECFMG certificate in order to be eligible for graduate medical education training at Lahey Clinic.
