    Study Objective Contact
A Randomized Study of Dorsal versus Ventral Buccal Mucosa Graft Onlay for Bulbar Urethroplasty [LCID Study Number: 2016-008] Patients with urethral strictures who have elected to undergo a urethroplasty will be included in this study. The primary objective of the study is to compare two different types of approaches for urethroplasty: dorsal (top) or ventral (bottom) placement of a graft from the buccal mucosa (inside of the cheek). Patients will not be able to choose which placement they receive, however they will be made aware after the decision has been made by study team members. Patients will be followed for one year after their surgery. There are no additional clinic visits, questionnaires, or tests beyond what is normally done for all patients undergoing this surgery.
