To support the all-inclusive needs of cancer patients, Lahey offers integrative therapy services, sometimes called alternative therapy services, for all cancer patients. Acupuncture

Insertion of needles through the skin at certain points on the body to relieve pain or improve bodily function.

Art therapy

Expressing one’s self through art to improve or restore functioning and a sense of personal well-being.

Massage therapy

Treatment of the soft tissues of the body by use of pressure, friction or kneading to help with muscle flexibility.

Reiki

A special technique to reduce stress and enhance relaxation, administered by the “laying on of hands”.

Yoga

A six-week program for the renewal of body and spirit.
