Gynecologic oncology at Lahey involves screening, surgery, medical treatment, and continual follow-up for cervical, endometrial and ovarian cancers. The Department of Gynecology works in collaboration with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists and primary care physicians. Research interests include investigational use of CA-125 blood testing and pelvic ultrasound for early detection of ovarian cancer.
