This procedure is designed to address the laxity of the arms, where, as a result of aging or significant weight loss, the skin can become resistant to weight training and exercise. Surgical removal of excess tissue results in a more well-defined, toned appearance of the arm.
Liposuction
Liposuction is a surgical procedure that removes deposits of excess fat from specific areas of the face, neck or body. Liposuction often targets those stubborn areas of fat that fail to change with diet and exercise. In removing excess fat, this procedure can improve the contour of desired areas and create a smoother, more proportioned appearance. Please note, however, that liposuction should not be used as an alternative to weight loss.
Thigh/buttock lift
Unlike other surgical procedures, the thigh/buttock lift can address the laxity of tissue in the medial and lateral thigh, along with the sagginess of the buttocks. Tightening and lifting the excess skin and tissue dramatically improves the contour and appearance of the lower body. A consult with one of our board-certified plastic surgeons is recommended to determine if the thigh/buttock lift is an appropriate option for you.
Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty)
Surgery of the abdomen is performed to improve the contour and appearance of the lower abdomen. Following pregnancies or significant weight loss, the abdominal area is often left with excess fat and loose, sagging skin. Unfortunately, abdominal workouts and diet cannot adequately address these conditions. An abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, is a procedure used to surgically remove the excess tissue and tighten the muscles of the abdominal wall. Following abdominoplasty, patients are left with a smoother, more defined stomach and an improved abdominal profile.
