Welcome to Lahey Clinic's Department of Neurosurgery

Welcome to Lahey Clinic's Department of Neurosurgery. Our team - consisting of six operating neurosurgeons, two non-operating neurosurgeons, and a physiatrist - treats patients with conditions of the brain, spinal cord, spine, and peripheral nerves. Each department member has extensive subspecialty training providing for expertise and sub-specialization within the field of neurosurgery. Several multidisciplinary clinics are available to assist our patients and physicians with the overall management of neurological dysfunction.

Lahey Clinic's Department of Neurosurgery is a center of excellence for the surgical and non-surgical evaluation and treatment of the full range of adult nervous system diseases, including those affecting the brain, its blood vessels and coverings, the spine and spinal cord and the peripheral nerves. The Neurosurgery Department strives to provide patient care in a personalized, compassionate and accommodating manner. Respecting the satisfaction of our referring physicians, we provide prompt consultative services.

Neurosurgery staff members work in close collaboration with other Lahey specialists in the treatment of spine disorders; brain skull base and pituitary tumors; neurovascular diseases; and epilepsy and movement disorders, such as Parkinson's disease. We achieve excellence using the latest technical innovations and surgical techniques and highly value our participation in both medical education and neuroscience research.
