Lahey Clinic provides comprehensive orthopedic trauma care. Our orthopedic traumatologists are part of a multi-disciplinary trauma team that also includes specialists from the Departments of General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Urology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Emergency Medicine and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
The goals of the orthopaedic trauma team are to provide timely, accurate diagnosis; achieve stable fixation of fractures and soft tissue injuries; and emphasize modern rehabilitation methods to allow early recovery and a faster return to normal functioning.
