Referrals

We are fortunate to live in an area rich in medical specialists. However, most insurance carriers now stipulate that all specialty care must be approved by a primary care provider PRIOR to a visit. They also require that specialists be on the insurance plan's list of approved providers. To avoid problems, before making an appointment, please be sure you have discussed any referrals with your provider and that our office has approved and processed the appropriate referral information.
