Seasoned Executive Charged with Growing Lahey’s Global Presence
Burlington, MA (September 2, 2015) – Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (LHMC) recently announced that Linda Moulton has been named CEO of its Executive & International Health programs.
In this newly created role, Moulton oversees LHMC’s International Health program, which provides medical care to patients residing outside of the United States, giving patients and doctors in different parts of the world direct access to the advanced research, diagnostic and treatment resources of LHMC. The program brings cardiovascular, gastroenterology, transplantation, neurology, orthopedics, urology, and other experts from LHMC and its affiliates to other countries to serve patients in need.
In addition to her International Health oversight, Moulton will direct LHMC’s Executive Health program, which offers comprehensive preventive care designed to fit into the schedules of busy executives both in the US and abroad. The Executive Health program provides a one-day experience that includes a comprehensive health evaluation, diagnostic testing, physical assessment and personalized treatment for on-the-go executives.
“Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is on the cutting edge of health care,” said Linda Moulton. “I look forward to working strategically to grow the awareness of the Lahey brand in international markets and to ensure our Executive Health program continues to deliver world-class service and care to every executive who walks through our doors.”
Moulton joins Lahey Health with nearly 35 years of senior and c-suite leadership experience in both manufacturing and financial institutions. In April 2014, following the successful sale of the company, Linda stepped down as CEO of TRU Technologies, Inc., a Massachusetts-based privately-held technology-products manufacturing company. In 2010, the Boston Business Journal recognized TRU Corporation as one of the top 100 privately held companies in Massachusetts and in 2010 and 2012 as one of the top 100 woman-led companies in Massachusetts.
Moulton’s deep knowledge of the health care industry can be traced to her history with Lahey Health. From 2012-2014 Linda served as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for Lahey Health, and also chaired the board’s Investment Committee. She also served on the Executive, Finance, Strategy and Audit/Compliance committees, where she took leadership roles in shaping Lahey Health’s future.
“Linda Moulton brings a unique set of leadership skills, business experience, and international understanding to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center,” said Lahey Health Chief Executive Officer Howard Grant, JD, MD. “Her strategic vision will be critical in our efforts to preserve the international patients that we are privileged to serve today and to identify new opportunities to deliver quality, affordable care to other international patients.”
