Hospital Facility Fee Notice
Lahey Clinic's main hospital facility in Burlington includes an ambulatory care center and satellite hospital locations at 31 Mall Road and at 20 Wall Street. Our other satellite hospital facilities include the Lahey Clinic Medical Center North Shore in Peabody and the rehabilitation facility located in Danvers. These facilities in Burlington and Peabody and the rehabilitation facility in Danvers are operated as a hospital. Our system also includes physician offices in Lexington and at a number of community group practice sites that operate as doctors' offices and are not part of the hospital.
If you receive care at one of the facilities in Burlington or Peabody or the rehabilitation facility in Danvers certain outpatient services and procedures may have a hospital facility charge in addition to a provider charge. The hospital facility charge does not apply to services and procedures provided at our facility in Lexington or at our community group practice sites. Depending on your particular insurance coverage, you may pay more for certain outpatient services and procedures provided at the facilities in Burlington or Peabody or the rehabilitation facility in Danvers than you would at our facility in Lexington or at our community group practice sites. You may want to review your health insurance benefits or check with your insurer regarding coverage.
