Travel & Accommodations


Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, Mass., is accessible by local and public transportation, as well as private shuttles. For driving directions, click here.

From Cambridge

The MBTA's bus number 350 provides service from Alewife station near Fresh Pond.

From Boston

Both the MBTA's bus numbers 352 and 353 provide service from the Haymarket station area via I-93. You may also take the commuter rail to Anderson station in Woburn.

Note: There is no public transportation from the Anderson station to Burlington; you must take a taxi or arrange for pickup.

From Logan

From Logan, you can access the MBTA's Blue Line, connect to the Green Line, then the Red Line, and get off at Alewife. Then, take the MBTA's bus number 350 or the commuter rail to Anderson station in Woburn to get to Lahey.

Note: There is no public transportation from the Anderson station to Burlington; you must take a taxi or arrange for pickup.

Shuttle and private sedan transfers between the airport, Lahey Clinic Medical Center and local hotels are available through the Lahey travel office, Great International Travel. To reach Lahey's travel office, call 800-643-4300 or 781-744-8550 or logon to www.greatintltravel.com.

American Classic Limousines offers private sedan service for up to four people between Lahey Clinic Medical Center and Logan Airport. The cost is $71.50 including tax, tolls & gratuity for the car, one-way. Advance reservations are required.

Ultimate Livery offers shared van service between Lahey Clinic Medical Center and Logan Airport at $45 for the first person and $10 for each additional person, one way.

From Lowell/Billerica

LRTA buses travel along Route 3A to the intersection of Chestnut and Cambridge streets in Burlington, where you can transfer to either an MBTA bus number 350 or to a local B-Line bus for a short, direct connection to the Clinic.

Within Burlington

B-Line buses travel throughout Burlington. In the event you need to transfer, all buses connect at the B-Line office, located at the Human Resources Building in Burlington center.

Lahey Shuttles

Shuttles are available to pick you up in the patient parking lot upon arrival and drop you off at the main entrance. To signal the shuttle, turn the switch on the light poles with the blue light on top. This activates the flashing blue light, which signals the driver to pick you up.
