Pathways to Expertise is a unique program created at Lahey for registered nurses to promote the development of clinical expertise in an area of nursing specialization. The Pathway to Expertise Program provides professional support and development so that career advancement can occur
throughout one's professional nursing career at Lahey Clinic.

About the Program
The Pathways to Expertise program includes a 12- to 16-week competency-based orientation that uses a blended learning approach including individual, group and electronic learning modalities. Advanced learning concepts based upon the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional
Nursing Practice and National Nursing Speciality Organization Standards are taught in both classroom and clinical settings.
