Patient Experience Measures

Our goal is to provide not only the best results for each and every patient, but also the best experience for patients and their loved ones—whether they visit us for a check-up or for treatment of a serious medical condition.

The Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (also known as HCAHPS) is a tool that helps measure experience among patients admitted to the hospital. HCAHPS represents a partnership of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). The survey provides a standardized set of questions, enabling those agencies—and consumers—to make comparisons between hospitals.
