116th Boston Marathon, April 16, 2012 

The Boston Marathon is the world's oldest annual marathon and ranks as one of the world's most prestigious road racing events. The Marathon is also an important tradition at Lahey Clinic. This year, members of our staff and friends will again be running in memory of Diane Geehan, a 22-year colleague and PACU nurse, who ran her fifth Boston Marathon only a few months before being diagnosed with lung cancer. Members of Team Lahey for Diane take on her fight to continue the battle against lung cancer and help find a cure for others.
