The Department of Dermatology is comprised of 18 physicians, 4 Nurse Practitioners, and 22 Nurses and support staff. Our staff is warm and collegial and has an excellent breadth of knowledge that is readily shared. We have three practice locations; Burlington, Lexington and Peabody MA. The department sees approximately 35,000 patients a year and is known for its quality care often receiving referrals from local dermatologists as well as from the other specialties. Our patient population is broad and there is a great variety in our case mix.
We are associated with the Harvard Medical School Department of Dermatology. An appointment to Harvard as an instructor is available with our position. In addition, we run the Northeast Regional Hansen's Disease Center. For ten years we have offered a one year nurse practitioner fellowship in dermatology. This is an excellent opportunity to train and mentor and all dermatology staff take turns in teaching and training these individuals.
