Advanced Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment

We use a variety of tests and procedures, such as endoscopy and colonoscopy to diagnose illness. With our Endoscopy on Demand program, your primary care provider can make your appointment directly. That way, you don’t have to get a separate gastroenterology appointment first. It may be especially helpful if you need urgent digestive care. Of course, we welcome referrals from primary care physicians and others, as well. We provide second opinions, too.

Once we know the cause of your symptoms, we’ll talk with you about your treatment options. You’re a key player on your care team. So you’ll have an important role in deciding which treatment is best for you.

When we decide how to move forward, we’ll explain any upcoming procedures and how you should prepare. We do the procedures at our Advanced Endoscopy Center or another Lahey location. If you have any questions, we’re happy to answer them. And we’re always careful to explain what you should do afterward.
