The Division of Palliative Care & Geriatric Medicine at Lahey Clinic uses a team approach to care for seriously ill patients and train new providers. Our professional team includes medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists and social work specialists. Our division gives careful attention to outstanding patient care, innovative research and comprehensive fellowship education.

Multidisciplinary teams in the Division of Palliative Care & Geriatric Medicine work to improve the quality of care for patients and their families.
We provide comprehensive palliative care services in the hospital and at outpatient clinics. We focus on relieving symptoms and stresses of serious illnesses ranging from cancer and dementia to heart and lung diseases.
