The purpose of screening is early diagnosis and treatment. Tests are given to people who do not have current symptoms, but who may be at high risk.

There are no screening tests for uterine sarcoma.

Screening tests may be given to women starting at age 35 who are at high risk of endometrial cancer. This may be done with endometrial biopsy or transvaginal ultrasound.
