Involvement Supports Better Health

At Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, we take our role as a member of the community seriously. It’s not just about being a good corporate citizen, it’s about creating communities that value health. We sponsor local events, participate in local coalitions and offer educational opportunities to help build healthy communities.

Sharing Our Expertise

The medical experts at Lahey are at the top of their fields. They’re excited to pass on what they know to promote health and wellness and help you and your family thrive.

Our teams of health care professionals often offer free seminars, conferences and workshops. They cover important topics like healthy eating and exercise, diabetes prevention and healthy aging.

Promoting Community Wellness

Whether at health fairs, blood pressure screenings or backpack fit checks, our team is in the community, actively working to safeguard your health. Our employees volunteer more than 2,000 hours each year to community programming and projects because their communities—and you—are important to them.

In addition to outside events, we offer free support groups to families and patients living with a serious illness or chronic disease. Learn more about our support groups.

Building a Supportive Environment

We also support local organizations working to improve the health of the community, particularly those helping address unmet needs and factors that influence people’s well-being. To learn more about these efforts, contact Michelle Snyder at 781-744-7907 or by email.

Upcoming Events and Meetings
