Our Division of Ophthalmology offers routine eye exams and advanced treatments for all ages. Our eye care team includes more than 70 experts such as:

  • Ophthalmologists: Medical doctors who diagnose and treat eye conditions and diseases, including surgery.
  • Optometrists: Providers who deliver primary vision care, eye exams, and vision correction.

You can access routine eye exams and optical services at all Lahey Eye Institute locations. We provide specialized screenings for children and seniors.

Cataract Treatments

Cataracts are common as people age. At Lahey, we treat cataracts with:

Walk-In Optical Shops

When you’re ready to purchase eyewear, visit one of our Optical Shops. We offer walk-in services to get you on the path to improved vision.

You can find a wide selection of eyewear. You can bring an eyewear prescription from Lahey or non-Lahey providers.

At Lahey, you get the most advanced eye care. The Division of Ophthalmology takes part in many research activities. Our doctors and researchers work with the Center for the Advancement of Research in Eyes (CARE). At CARE, clinicians and scientists work to improve the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of eye diseases.
