Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, a founding member of Lahey Health, is seeking a radiologist trained in musculoskeletal imaging. Candidates must be ABR certified in Diagnostic Radiology and have completed an MSK Radiology fellowship or obtain equivalent expertise. As an independent academic medical center and integrated group practice we pride ourselves in collegial and interdisciplinary, patient centered work. Therefore, we are looking for a well rounded Radiologist with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoys teamwork with like-minded clinicians. The successful applicant will be responsible for the interpretation of the full range of diagnostic musculoskeletal studies (MRI, CT, radiographs, and bone density) and for the performance of fluoroscopy-guided musculoskeletal procedures (joint injections, aspirations and arthrograms). Our practice has a busy MSK ultrasound service, and the applicants experienced in diagnostic MSK ultrasound as well as in the interventional ultrasound-guided procedures will be preferred. In addition to MSK imaging, the position requires competency in general Diagnostic Radiology (body imaging and chest radiology, including radiography, CT and ultrasound) and participation in general radiology call. 

Our department has a residency program, and we are searching for someone with a passion for resident teaching and mentoring. The candidate will be expected to contribute to the division's scholarly mission of clinical research. 

Our department is located in the tertiary care hospital of suburban Boston health system (Lahey Health). We also have 2 outpatient facilities in close proximity we staff. This busy clinical practice is run by a total of 36 radiologists, including 5 dedicated fellowship-trained musculoskeletal radiologists, as well as 20 residents. Our state-of-the-art equipment includes 6 MRI scanners, 7 CT scanners, an array of modern digital fluoroscopic and US equipment. We are particularly proud of our cutting edge IT infrastructure, which includes integrated inpatient/outpatient Epic EMR, Primordial workflow and communication solutions, Philips Intellispace PACS, DoseWise monitoring and Performance Bridge Practice, MModal Fluency voice recognition as well as a host of cloud based clinical and research analytics tools. Lahey recently received HIMMS level 7 certification, the highest available stage of improving care through IT solutions. 

In March 2017, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center opened an expanded state-of the-art Emergency Department with 36 private rooms, 4 trauma bays, an integrated radiology imaging suite and a clinical observation unit.

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is a 340 bed, tertiary care hospital and outpatient clinic and Level II trauma center. We are a teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine. Our physician-led, multidisciplinary group practice of over 500 physicians fosters a collegial atmosphere and high quality, cost efficient care.
