Gynecologic oncology at Lahey involves screening, surgery, medical treatment, and continual follow-up for cervical, endometrial (uterine) and ovarian cancers. The Department of Gynecology works in collaboration with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists and primary care physicians. Research interests include investigational use of CA-125 blood testing and pelvic ultrasound for early detection of ovarian cancer.
