    Lahey Clinic Medical Center has extensive experience with the complications of reflux disease, diagnosis and management of malignancies and the intricacies of motility disorders of the GI tract. The multidisciplinary approach to common gastroesophageal diseases through 24-hour pH testing, motility studies, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, laser therapy, stent placement, and laparoscopic surgery is stressed through this center. Gastroesophageal conditions, such as heartburn and GERD are also addressed through this center.

    Local publisher Jones & Bartlett recruited gastroenterologists from Lahey Clinic to write a series of health education books for consumers as part of the publisher's "100 Questions & Answers" series.  The books offer practical information on a range of gastrointestinal topics and are available at local bookstores and through online booksellers.
