Clinical Outcome & Economic Impact of Aggressive Laboratory Protocol for High Sensitivity Troponin I in the Management of Patients with Chest Pain in the Emergency Department [LCID Study Number: 2013-069] The purpose of this research study is to collect blood specimens from patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) to evaluate a new test that may help physicians determine if symptoms of ACS are caused by a heart attack sooner than they can today. Samples will be used to evaluate the usefulness of the new test in the diagnosis and treatment of patients who arrive in the emergency room with suspected ACS. Patients are recruited exclusively from the Emergency Department (ED). Principal Investigator(s):
