Welcome to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center's Department of Neurosurgery. Our team, consisting of five operating neurosurgeons, three nonoperating neurosurgeons, and three physiatrists, treats patients with conditions of the brain, spinal cord, spine and peripheral nerves. Each department member has extensive subspecialty training, providing for expertise and subspecialization within the field of neurosurgery. Several multidisciplinary clinics are available to assist our patients and physicians with the overall management of neurological dysfunction. Lahey Hospital & Medical Center's Department of Neurosurgery is a center of excellence for the surgical and nonsurgical evaluation and treatment of the full range of adult nervous system diseases, including those affecting the brain, its blood vessels and coverings, the spine and spinal cord and the peripheral nerves. The department strives to provide patient care in a personalized, compassionate and accommodating manner. Respecting the satisfaction of our referring physicians, we provide prompt consultative services.
