To help community members answer questions they may
have on menopause, Lahey Health will be hosting a free women’s health event –
“Take Charge of the Change” – on May 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lahey Medical
Center, Peabody in the Atrium, located on the first floor at One Essex Center
Drive in Peabody.
The event will include a panel of experts to
discuss their approaches for managing symptoms, provide insight on sensitive
topics, and answer any of your questions.
Panel speakers include:
- Dawn Anderson, MD, Gynecology, discussing medical
and surgical interventions to help with symptoms
- Dinamarie C. Garcia-Banigan, MD, Endocrinology
discussing sexual dysfunction and bone density
- Arthur Mourtzinos, MD, Urology, discussing bladder
Menopause is inevitable. It will happen whether you
are prepared or not. Being ready for the changes ahead will give you the
confidence you need to make a smooth transition.
