Welcome to the Department of Volunteer & Community Services at Lahey Clinic. Each year, our team of volunteers has continued to grow, with more than 300 volunteers providing service in 40 different areas throughout the Clinic. Last year, Lahey volunteers donated more than 30,000 hours of service in positions ranging from patient and family support to customer service and administrative assistance.

Our volunteers range in age from 14 to 87 and come from a wide variety of backgrounds. What these individuals share is a passion for making a positive impact in others' lives. When volunteers give, they not only change the lives of those they touch for the better, but also experience the personal satisfaction of staying connected to their community.

Through our volunteer efforts, we strive to make Lahey Clinic a more compassionate and welcoming health care setting for the patients, families and visitors we support.
