    At Lahey Clinic, we are committed to addressing the serious consequences of tobacco use. Our goal is to empower each individual to quit tobacco use and smoking by providing a tobacco-free campus as well as easy access to tobacco treatment.

    Quitting tobacco is one of the best things you can do for your health. It is hard work, but you can do it. The following links can help.

    Freedom from Smoking® at Lahey Clinic Medical Center, Burlington and Lahey Clinic Medical Center, North Shore, Peabody

    Lahey Clinic is offering FREE sessions of the American Lung Association's Freedom From Smoking® program at both the Burlington and Lahey North, Peabody, MA locations.

  • Declaring Our Independence from Tobacco

    As of July 4, 2008, Lahey Clinic will no longer allow smoking or other forms of tobacco use anywhere on Lahey Clinic property. This new policy supports our mission to protect the health of all who come to the Clinic.
  • Freedom from Smoking

    Lahey is offering complementary sessions of the American Lung Association’s Freedom from Smoking program in Burlington and Peabody locations in the Fall of 2011. Eleana M. Conway, NP, manager of Lahey's new Health Improvement Program, and other Freedom from Smoking certified instructors will review this step-by-step plan for tobacco treatment.
