Drs. Mahajan and Avgerinos Join Lahey Health Primary Care, Beverly

Beverly, MA (March 12, 2018) – Lahey Health Primary Care, Beverly, today announces the addition of Neeraj Mahajan, MD and Nicholas Avgerinos, MD, to its growing practice. Both physicians are accepting new patients and have joined the practice at its recently opened location at 30 Tozer Road in Beverly.

“We are excited to have both Dr. Mahajan and Dr. Avgerinos join our practice,” said Tina Waugh, MD, Medical Director of Lahey Health Primary Care, Beverly. “With both of these doctors, we will be able to offer patients an expanded array of procedural-based medicine that we can treat right in our office. These physicians will be welcomed additions to our Beverly practice.”

Prior to joining Lahey Health Primary Care, Beverly, Dr. Mahajan spent the last four years practicing as a family medicine physician for Health Flo medical clinics in Florida. His addition will allow the practice to offer patients aesthetic procedures within the primary care setting. Additionally, Dr. Mahajan has a special interest in dermatologic procedures, including biopsies and cryotherapy for skin lesions that he will be bringing to the practice. Dr. Mahajan has been practicing medicine since 2008 when he graduated from Gajra Raja Medical College in India. He completed his residency in family medicine in 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, NY.

Dr. Avgerinos completed his residency at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in 2017 before joining Lahey Health Primary Care, Beverly. He received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA. In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Avgerinos also performs skin biopsies, IUD and Nexplanon placements, vasectomies, cortisone shots, group medical visits, medical weight loss visits and office procedures at the Beverly practice.
