Whether you first meet us as a patient in the hospital or come to us for an office visit, we know having someone you can rely on is crucial. Our team of physicians, nurses, nutritionists, social workers and others will be at your side every step of the way. We focus our attention on your care and take pride in forming close relationships with you and your loved ones.

Referrals to Our Kidney Specialists

Physicians often discover kidney problems through a blood or urine test, or recognize that you might be at risk of kidney disease from high blood pressure. If a problem is identified, it’s important for you to see a nephrologist, a physician who specializes in kidney care.

Our physicians are experts in the management of hypertension (high blood pressure), chronic kidney disease and dialysis (a treatment for chronic kidney disease). We also work closely with the kidney transplant team and will ensure that patients evaluated for transplantation appropriately. Because kidney disease often affects older adults, our doctors have expertise in the special needs that elderly patients may have.

Being referred to a kidney specialist doesn’t always mean your condition is serious. But expert evaluation and guidance may keep a mild problem from getting worse. We’re happy to accept physician referrals in all cases.
