Post-traveling counseling and treatment is available for most illnesses acquired overseas. Anyone returning from travel with persistent symptoms should be evaluated for travel-related disease. Symptoms of travel-related disease may include:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Cough
  • Diarrhea
  • Fever
  • Nausea
  • Skin eruptions (e.g., rash, lesions or discoloration)
  • Vomiting

Our physicians can provide you with comprehensive treatment and advice on emerging diseases such as severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and dengue fever.
