Post-traveling counseling and treatment is available for most illnesses acquired overseas. Anyone returning from travel with persistent symptoms should be evaluated for travel-related disease. Symptoms of travel-related disease may include:

  • Nausea
  • Skin eruptions (e.g., rash, lesions or discoloration)
  • Vomiting
