The Center for Infectious Diseases and Prevention provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of patients with infectious diseases, both on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Our staff is committed to patient care and education. Our goal is to provide the highest level of clinical care, with an emphasis on preventing disease before it occurs through the appropriate use of antibiotics and vaccines.
Pathology & Laboratory Medicine
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine provides full anatomic and clinical laboratory services and is accredited by the College of American Pathologists. Our board-certified pathologists provide diagnostic and consultative services for the clinical divisions. Laboratory Medicine serves the diverse and complex needs of physicians and patients from various Lahey Health locations as well as the needs of patients from other regional healthcare providers and community physicians.
Travel & Tropical Medicine
The Travel and Tropical Medicine Clinic at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is designed to help travelers deal with all their health needs in preparation for a safe and pleasant trip and offers assistance to both adventure travelers and corporate travelers, including pre-travel immunizations and any post travel issues.
