Independent Program
The plastic surgery residency program will match one new resident for a three-year independent program.
Independent Program Requirements
Candidates must have satisfactorily completed a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) in one of the following specialties:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedic Surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Oral Maxillofacial Surgery
- Otolaryngology
- Urology
We must receive documentation of satisfactory completion of the specified prerequisite training prior to the start of your plastic surgery training.
Independent Program Interviews
Interviews are usually held in February/March every year for the following year and consists of one-day interview session that includes general orientation, an interview with each of our faculty, meeting with the residents and a hospital tour. There will be an optional informal social event with our residents the night before.

Integrated Program
Our integrated plastic surgery residency program matches one new resident a year for a six-year residency program.
Integrated Program Interviews
Interviews are usually held in December every year for the following year and consists of one-day interview session that includes general orientation, an interview with each of our faculty, meeting with the residents and a hospital tour. There will be an optional informal social event with our residents the night before.
Application is made through Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
