Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (Lahey) is a teaching hospital based on a group practice model. Located approximately 17 miles northwest of Boston, Massachusetts, Lahey includes a 335-bed tertiary medical center and provides care to over 3,000 outpatients per day. It is a teaching facility of Tufts University School of Medicine, a campus for UMass Chan medical school and has affiliations with MCPHS University.
In addition, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center has almost 100 community-based physicians in a wide range of specialties. The multidisciplinary approach allows patients to have access to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, therapists and other supporting staff from virtually every medical specialty, all working together to provide superior patient outcomes. Within this framework, the Pharmacy Department is committed to providing the highest quality of care and customer service to our patients, along with support and education for all members of our healthcare team.
