Take the first step on your journey toward better health.
The Balance Center at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center provides expert care for people experiencing dizziness, vertigo, and balance problems.
These symptoms are common — especially in adults over age 75 — and can make everyday activities more difficult or unsafe. While most causes are not life-threatening, they can have a major impact on your quality of life.
If you feel dizzy or unsteady, it’s important to see your primary care doctor. They can rule out more serious conditions, such as stroke, heart problems, or blood pressure issues. Once that’s done, our team can help identify the cause and create a treatment plan tailored to you.
Our multidisciplinary team includes specialists in neurology; ear, nose, and throat (ENT) care; audiology; and vestibular rehabilitation (a type of physical therapy that helps improve balance). We work together to evaluate both the inner ear and the brain — key systems that control balance.
With advanced testing and personalized treatment, we help you feel more stable, confident, and in control of your daily life.
