Is it Urgent?

If you are have any of the following symptoms, you may be experiencing a medical emergency and should call 911 or go to your nearest Emergency Department, immediately:

  • Bleeding issues for patients on blood thinning medications
  • Bleeding that will not stop
  • Blood in your stool or bleeding from rectum
  • Chest pain
  • Coughing up or vomiting blood
  • Difficulty breathing
  • “FAST” Stroke symptoms (face drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulty)
  • Loss of consciousness or significant change in mental status
  • Multiple injuries
  • Pregnancy related emergency
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Severe burns
  • Severe or atypical headache
