Bariatric Surgery Fellowship
Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, an ACS Bariatric Surgery Level IA Center of Excellence, offers a one year fellowship in bariatric surgery with the focus of the experience on minimally invasive bariatric surgery. The anticipated case volume will surpass 250 bariatric cases with approximately 50% laparoscopic gastric bypasses and the rest divided between laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, revisional bariatric surgery, and laparoscopic adjustable gastric band. At completion of the fellowship, the fellow will be competent in intracorporeal suturing and performance of complex laparoscopic operations.
