What do you give the woman who gave you a piece of her liver? The gift of never having to do the dishes again! Watch the incredible love story of Derek and Logan, who are connected through marriage, and through organ donation. Derek had primary sclerosing cholangitis, a progressive disease that had begun to severely affect his quality of life. Logan donated a piece of her liver to Derek, and the procedure was performed at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Mass. Today, Derek is back to all the activities he enjoys, and the couple have many more years of laughter and love to look forward to. That’s the #poweroftransplant.
