Our Patient and Caregiver Support Groups
At Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, we have support services for organ transplantation to help you and your family.
We have groups to support patients, donors and caregivers before, during and after the transplant process. At the meetings, you will have a chance to listen, discuss and connect with others managing their illness. Connecting with others has been shown to reduce the stress, loneliness and isolation that can accompany chronic illness. Knowledgeable staff members facilitate the groups and provide support and education.
All of our support group meetings are in the 4 East Conference Room, next to the Transplant/Hepatology Clinic at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.
Our support groups include:
- Kidney Transplant Support Group: For patients and their loved ones, typically held the third Thursday of the month from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm.
