Butter 4 tablespoons
Granny Smith apples, cored and cubed 6 cups
Brown sugar ½ cup
Sugar ¼ cup
Low-sodium ketchup ½ cup
Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
Molasses 1 tablespoon
Salt 1 teaspoon
Great Northern beans, undrained 24 ounces
Pinto beans, undrained 24 ounces
  • Melt butter in skillet, add apples, and cook until tender.
  • Stir in sugars, ketchup, cinnamon, molasses, and salt.
  • Add beans, mix well.
  • Pour into slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 2-4 hours.
