The Department of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine and the Sleep Disorders Center at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center offers a one year Sleep Medicine Fellowship. Only one position is offered each year.

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington encompasses an ambulatory care center serving more than 3,000 patients each day and a 317-bed hospital. It is a full-service tertiary medical institution and is affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Mass.

The Department of Sleep Medicine is committed to excellence with multidisciplinary service to patients with a wide range of sleep disorders. The program provides comprehensive clinical training to ensure that the sleep fellow possesses sound clinical judgment and a high level of knowledge of the diagnosis and management of all sleep disorders.

The program is multidisciplinary, utilizing services in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, Neurology, Pediatric Medicine, Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine and Otolaryngology. The majority of training occurs at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Burlington, while the training in pediatric sleep medicine takes place at Tufts Medical Center in Boston and the dental sleep medicine rotation takes place at the School of Dental Medicine, Boston.

Applicants must have completed or currently be enrolled in a pulmonary fellowship program. The applicant must hold US citizenship, permanent residency or J-1 Visa through the ECFMG Exchange Visitor Sponsorship Program.
